Measuring a dining area
Measure the table, occupied chairs and delivery route before choosing a dining configuration.

Record the table footprint
Draw the room with doors, windows, radiators and fixed furniture. Add the selected table dimensions, then check its position against door swings and the route between adjoining rooms.
Allow for chairs in use
Chair width alone does not tell you whether a dining area works. Check the room with chairs pulled back and occupied, and leave usable passage behind them. Confirm the seat count separately from the table price.
Check access and the quotation
Send table and chair references, quantities and finishes together with the room plan. Measure doors, stairs and lifts on the delivery route; ask the written quotation to specify handling and assembly.
