Who controls your information

Information and purposes
Enquiry forms collect your name, email, company and message to respond to product requests and take pre-contractual steps. Account forms collect your identity and business contact details, with a protected password record, to administer access and review registrations. Orders store your selection, delivery details and correspondence to prepare and manage an order.
Legal basis
Responding to requested quotations and managing accounts or orders relies on steps requested before a contract or performance of a contract. Necessary security logs support our legitimate interest in protecting the service. Records required for accounting or legal obligations are retained for those obligations. We do not use form submissions for unsolicited marketing.
Service providers and maps
Authorised operators and the hosting, application storage and email providers needed to handle a request may process the relevant information. The contact page embeds Google Maps directly: loading it connects your browser to Google, which can receive your IP address, browser information and map interactions under its own privacy terms. Avoid opening the contact page if you do not want that external connection; our business email is available in the footer.
Storage and retention
Enquiries are kept while the request and related follow-up are being handled. Account data is kept while access is required; order records may need longer retention for contractual, accounting or legal purposes. Retention is reviewed against those purposes and applicable obligations rather than kept indefinitely. Technical hosting and transfer arrangements can be requested through the privacy contact.
Your rights and browser storage
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Contact porto-trading@pm.me. You can lodge a complaint with the Italian Garante or the competent supervisory authority. The site stores a shopping bag in your browser and uses the necessary porto_session authentication cookie for up to seven days unless the session ends earlier; it does not require an advertising account to browse.
