Check the ceiling height, suspension dimensions and fixing position before ordering a decorative pendant.
Choose the mounting position
Identify the table, seating area or entrance that the pendant will serve. Include its mounting position on the room plan rather than choosing only from the appearance of the fitting.
Check the suspended dimensions
Compare the listed width and drop with ceiling height and the furniture below. Check sight lines and movement around the fitting, then record any required adjustment in the product enquiry.
Confirm technical requirements
Ask for the documentation for the final fitting, including electrical compatibility and mounting requirements. A suitably qualified installer should review the fixing surface and installation before work is agreed.
